Fun, casual established brand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about culinary arts, driven by excellence, and possesses strong leadership and organizational skills. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about crafting exceptional dining experiences, and has the ability to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen team. If you have a deep understanding of culinary trends, a strong business sense, and the desire to lead a high-performing kitchen. Experience with modern Mexican cuisine in a from scratch setting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
• Manage menu development and design, focusing on innovation and seasonality.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards across all areas of food preparation.
• Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver consistent performance.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including food procurement, cost control, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with management to drive business goals and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and optimize kitchen processes to maintain efficiency and high productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary trends and industry standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in cost control and budgeting.
• Effective communication and team management skills.
